One person remains in hospital after an accident at a busy roundabout in Inverness last night.
Eight people, including two pedestrians, were treated in hospital last night after the accident at Inshes Roundabout.
One of the pedestrians is still in Raigmore to receive treatment for leg injuries.
The other was released this morning.
A blue Honda Jazz and a white Ford Transit van were involved in the accident.
Four people from the Honda were treated in hospital and are said to have suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
They have since been released from hospital.
The two occupants of the van were also treated in hospital for minor injuries.
Sir Walter Scott Drive remained closed for three hours last night while an investigation was carried out by specialist road policing officers from Dingwall and the Trunk Roads Patrol Group.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the accident to contact them.
