A ward at a busy Highland hospital has had to be closed due to an outbreak of norovirus.
NHS Highland has confirmed Ward 2A at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness has been shut after the second outbreak of the sickness and diarrhoea bug in recent months.
The health board has asked visitors to stay away from hospitals if they have been unwell with any symptoms of vomiting or diarrhoea within the previous 48 hours.
In recent months Belford Hospital in Fort William, the Caithness General hospital in Wick and the Bayview nursing home in Thurso have also been affected by norovirus.
