An Inverness beauty spot has reopened two weeks after it was closed due to flooding.
Members of the public can now enjoy the Ness Islands again after high winds and floods caused major damage across March 8-9.
A major operation to remove a number of fallen trees has been carried out after the flood waters receded.
The area has now been deemed passable with care.
A Highland Council spokeswoman said: “Some paths still need patching repairs and these works will begin on Monday, March 23.
“While the patching works are taking place, access will be maintained to the islands but the public are asked to heed signs and avoid cordoned-off areas where works continue.”
