Inverness city centre fire: Emergency services battle huge Academy Street blaze

Emergency services are in attendance at a “well developed” fire in the centre of Inverness.

Fire fighters were called to M&Co on Academy street at around 10pm.

As a result of the fire Academy Street, Church Street, Union Street, Bank Street and Falcon Square have been closed off to members of the public.

Five appliances, two height platforms, two water pumps are currently at the scene.
