Police investigate death of Inverness baby

Police are investigating the sudden death of a three-month-old baby boy who died suddenly at his home in Inverness.

The baby was found dead in the Culloden area of the city on Saturday at around 12.55pm.

A police spokesman said: “The boy’s death remains unexplained at this time and inquiries are ongoing into the circumstances.

“A report regarding the child’s death will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
