Relatives said she and her partner Kyle Stewart had been left “devastated” by the infant’s death. A police spokesman said: “The cause of death remains unexplained at this time, but it is not believed to be suspicious. “A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal as is standard practice in these matters.” A close family member told the Press and Journal that initial post-mortem results indicated the cause of death was sudden death syndrome.
