Police want to hear from a taxi driver to clear up a mystery at an Inverness school on Thursday.
The man turned up at Smithton Primary School at about 2.45pm to collect a pupil for an appointment, but the force says no collection was planned.
The driver is white, in his late 50s or early 60s, slim with white hair and had a moustache.
It is believed he was driving a black car, possibly a Vauxhall Vectra.
While the matter is not deemed to be suspicious, police are keen to trace him to establish the circumstances of the incident and have appealed for anyone who can help to call them on 101.
