A teenage female tourist had her handbag snatched in broad daylight in Inverness at the weekend.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen a man grab the bag on Gordonville Road on Sunday.
The incident happened between 12pm and 12.45pm.
Police say the suspect is around 5ft 11n in height and was wearing a dark coloured hooded top.
He made off on foot in the direction of Haugh Road.
The victim is in her late-teens.
A police spokesman said: “Any witnesses, or anybody with any information is urged to phone Police Scotland at Inverness on 101, or alternatively phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
