Inverness sudden death “non-suspicious” say police

Police have said that the sudden death of a young man in an Inverness flat is “non-suspicious”.

The man, who has not been identified, was found in a ground floor flat in Murray Terrace in Smithton yesterday afternoon.

The man was in his 20s.

Police cordoned off the flat yesterday while a forensic expert examined it.

A police spokeswoman confirmed this morning that the initial investigation found that the death was “non-suspicious”.
