Police are investigating the thefts in Deeside

A moped rider has suffered leg injuries after a road accident in Inverness.

The moped was involved in a collision with a car on Clachnaharry Road, near its junction with King Brude Road just before 11.30am.

A police spokesman confirmed that officers and an ambulance had been sent to the scene.

However, the rider’s injuries are not thought to be serious.

The road has not been blocked.
