Three vehicle accident at Cromarty Bridge

Three vehicles have collided on the A9 Inverness-Thurso road this morning.

The accident, involving two cars and a pick-up at the north end of the Cromarty Bridge, close to the Ardullie roundabout, at around 9.20am.

A police spokesman said that no one was injured, however the two cars were badly damaged.

The road was partially blocked while emergency services attended. However the route was fully open by 9.45am.
