A man believed to be a police firearms officer has posted a photo to his Facebook page of two children holding automatic weapons.
The shocking image on former Millburn Academy pupil in Inverness, Blair McMaster’s, social media page shows a young boy holding a weapon matching the specifications of an M4 assault rifle.
In the photograph there is also an even younger girl brandishing a pistol believed to be a Glock 17 or similar 9mm weapon.
McMaster, understood to be an armed response officer based in the Highlands, also has a photo on his page of himself aiming a .308 Sniper’s rifle.
He tells a friend in a comment: “We were hunting ‘huns heads’!”
Police Scotland have not yet responded for comment on what Blair McMaster’s role in the force is.
