The accident happened on the A96 Forres road in Nairn at about 5.10pm. The road has been closed while emergency services attend the scene, causing significant traffic problems in the town. A police spokesman said that three people have minor injuries but no one is thought to be badly hurt. One fire appliance from Nairn attended but no cutting gear was used.
