A car crashed on the dual carriageway at the Tomatin viaduct at about 4.20pm. Three fire appliances attended after reports that one person was trapped. However when the crews, from Aviemore, Carrbridge and Grantown, arrived, they discovered that the person was out of the vehicle. A fire service spokeswoman said that firefighters helped make the scene safe and directed traffic. It is understood that there were no serious injuries although police could not confirm details.
