The accident happened on an unclassified road between Croy and the Inverness Airport roundabout at Dalcross on the A96 Inverness-Aberdeen road. A police spokesman said that the car had left the road and ended in a ditch at around 3.10pm. The woman was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. The extent of her injuries is unknown.
