The incident in Spires Crescent was reported around 10.30am. Two fire brigade units from the town, and one from Inverness, went to the scene. Firefighters used one jet, one hose reel jet, two sets of breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera. The fire was under control by 11am and crews left an hour later. No one was injured but a fire service spokeswoman said the shed was completely destroyed, along with its contents and three wheelie bins. There was also fire damage to the house, as well as a neighbouring property.
