An investigation has been launched after play equipment was set alight at a Nairn primary school.
Entry was forced into the playground at Millbank Primary and several items of school property were damaged.
Among them was a child’s bike and several play balls which were set alight.
Police are now investigating the incident, which they believe took place between 8.35pm on Monday and 6.30am on Tuesday.
A spokesman for the force said: “Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious behaviour around the area of the school to make contact on 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
