A cycle challenge which starts at finishes at Culloden Battlefield is to return for a third offering next weekend.
Cyclists will have the choice of three routes through the countryside, with the toughest running for 85 miles, right down to a 21 mile circuit open to younger riders and their parents.
The longest route is open to cyclists aged 18-years-old and over, while an intermediate route of 42 miles is open to 16-year-olds and up,
The now annual event is organised by the Highland Velodrome Trust (HiVelo), with income generated invested in plans for an indoor cycling facility in Inverness.
The challenge is held on Sunday, October 10, with registration open from 8.15am at Culloden Academy.
Entry is available on the day or on the HiVelo website until Thursday, October 8.
Organiser Mike Greaves said: “Entries are going well this year and we expect to welcome 300 riders for these quality rides in good company.”
