The hillwalker got into difficulty while climbing Scotland’s highest peak at about 11.40am. Members of Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team helped reach the injured man and brought him down to where he could meet the helicopter. He was collected at 1.39pm by Inverness-based coastguard helicopter Rescue 951 and taken to Belford Hospital in Fort William for treatment.
