A man has been taken to hospital after a crash near a major junction on the outskirts of Inverness.
The accident, involving one car, happened at the northbound slipway from the A9 Inverness to Perth onto the Raigmore Interchange, close to the Golden Bridge.
The accident happened at about 12.10pm and the slip road was closed for more than an hour while emergency services dealt with the accident.
Two fire crews and the specialist heavy rescue unit were called to the scene but were stood down soon after as the occupants of the car were able to escape with assistance.
A spokeswoman for the service said that crews helped make the scene safe before departing.
One man was taken to nearby Raigmore Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The car was recovered and the road fully reopened at 1.15pm.
