Police are appealing for help in tracing a vulnerable man who is missing in the Highlands.
Walter Fraser was last seen around 11am this morning, leaving his home in the Jemimaville area of the Black Isle.
The 68-year-old was going for a walk however has not returned or contacted anyone since.
He is described as 6ft tall, heavy build, with short brown and grey hair.
He was wearing a navy Parker jacket, brown trousers, boots and wears glasses. He may also have a plastic carrier bag in his possession.
Inspector Jamie Wilson said: “The police, along with Walter’s family, are very concerned for his welfare particularly because he has gone missing in a very remote rural area.
“We consider Walter to be vulnerable and his eyesight is also poor especially in the dark.
“I would appeal to anyone living in the surrounding area to keep a lookout for a man matching Walter’s description and check any sheds or outhouses in case he has taken shelter there.
“Walter is known to frequent the Cromarty area and so I would also appeal to people there to report any sightings to officers.”
Anyone with information which could help police trace Mr Fraser should contact 101.
