Picture by Andrew Smith Emergency services have closed a street in Inverness city centre amid reports of a fire at a popular bar. Three fire engines are attending an incident at the Hootananny venue, and police have closed off Church Street. The building was immediately evacuated and it is understood no one else was injured. One person has been injured as a result of the fire, which it is understood may have been caused by a boiler explosion. The emergency services were called about the incident at 5.19pm. Hootananny is currently undergoing a revamp, with work being carried out to create a cocktail bar on the third floor.
