Police have appealed for information after a teenage girl was approached by a man on the Black Isle.
The incident happened at around 8:05am on Thursday, at Millbank, North Kessock, near to North Kessock Primary School.
A man approached the girl – who was not a pupil at the school – at a bus stop and engaged her in conversation, before getting into a van and driving into North Kessock.
He was later seen making his way out of the village. The van is described as being a dull, dark red coloured panel van.
Inspector David Ogilvie said: “We would like to trace the driver of the van, so that we can establish the circumstances of this conversation and rule out anything untoward. We are appealing for him, or anyone with any information, to get in touch.
“If you were in the area at the time and have information which may assist our enquiries we would ask that you contact us on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.”
