Fire crews called to possible house fire east of Inverness

Fire crews from Inverness have been sent to tackle a possible house fire to the east of the city this afternoon.

The north’s fire service control room has received reports of smoke sightings coming from a property at Alturlie Point.

Two appliances from Inverness were sent to the scene after the 999 call was made at about 1.55pm.

It is unknown whether anyone is inside the property.
