Police are investigating reports of “potentially suspicious” behaviour in woods near an Inverness housing estate.
Officers has been carrying out high visibility patrols in the Raigmore estate after receiving two separate reports about a man.
The first incident happened at about 2.30pm on Tuesday this week, with the second the following day at about the same time.
In both cases the man did not approach anyone.
He is described as being in his mid-20s with dark curly hair, standing about 5ft 10in and of a medium build.
He was wearing a navy blue hooded top and dark jeans.
A police spokeswoman said: “Local officers have been carrying out high visibility patrols in the area to provide reassurance to members of the public.
“It should be noted that whilst the matter may be innocuous, police are treating this seriously and officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen someone behaving in a potentially suspicious manner in the area.
