The Millennium South scheme will be the subject of a three-day hearing, beginning at 10am on March 22 at the Lovat Hotel in Fort Augustus. Members of the public can attend the event which will consider the implications of 10 additional turbines, five miles west of the village. Falck Renewables’ existing scheme has 26 turbines. The hearing will focus on landscape and visual amenity, climate change and energy policy, and planning policy. The Scottish Government has appointed David Liddell as inquiry reporter.
