Sentence has again been deferred on an Inverness man who falsely claimed £2472.72 in Housing and Council Tax Benefit.
Alister Fraser, 59, 16 West Heather Road, had earlier admitted failing to declare that he was receiving an Armed Forces pension and sentence was deferred for repayment.
Defence lawyer John MacColl told the court that the outstanding balance was now £1,816.39.
He added that the DWP were pursuing his client through the civil court for a much larger sum.
Sheriff David Sutherland imposed a compensation order for the outstanding sum and ordered that it be repaid at £150 per month.
