Spiderman was in the dock yesterday after allegedly breaching the peace at a Highland hospital.
The superhero is accused of jumping out at a paramedic transferring a patient from an ambulance at Raigmore Hospital, refusing to remove his mask and uttering threats of violence.
Yesterday, the man behind the mask – James Grant, of 17 Ballifeary Lane, Inverness – appeared at the city’s sheriff court accused of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner at the hospital between Monday and Wednesday this week.
The charge alleges the 36-year-old carried out the offence while in “full Spiderman outfit and mask”.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge.
He was remanded in custody, and will next appear in court on April 12. A trial has been fitted for later in the month.
