The Toyota Yaris left the road while travelling northbound at Daviot on the Perth to Inverness route shortly after 10am. The driver and passenger were taken to hospital for a check-up, but were not thought to have been seriously injured. Meanwhile, the A99 in Caithness was closed both ways at Occumster for a short period between 4pm and 5pm following a crash between a van and a lorry. Police, fire and ambulance services attended the scene, although there not thought to have been any serious injuries.
