Several people were injured after a three-car crash on the A9 yesterday evening.
Air ambulance, fire and police were all in attendance at the incident which happened near the Deephaven Industrial Estate at Evanton around 5.20pm on Saturday.
The occupants of all three vehicles involved in the smash were injured – although the extent of their injuries is not known at this time.
A fire service spokeswoman confirmed: “The roof had been cut off one vehicle to get people out.”
A police spokesman added: “Inquiries are ongoing into this matter and no further witnesses are sought at this time.”
