An Inverness man was jailed for six months and ordered to carry out community service upon his release for behaving in a threatening and abusive manner in two separate incidents.
Richard Watson, of 8 Redwood Avenue, Milton of Leys, was yesterday jailed after previously admitting shouting and swearing at members of the public in the city’s Raigmore Hospital in May 2014.
Sheriff Margaret Neilson also ordered Watson to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work within one year in relation to another incident in March 2015, which involved shouting, swearing and uttering threats of violence towards the occupants of a home in the city’s Torvean Avenue.
The 24-year-old also admitted failing to appear in court in relation to these offences, and was ordered to pay a fine of £400.
