Drivers are being warned of temporary road restrictions around Castle Stuart for the rest of this week.

The orders came into force yesterday evening and will remain in place until 10pm on Monday after the conclusion of the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open.

The orders are as follows:

B9039 Newton – Ardersier Road, 30mph, no waiting, no right-turn from event exit gates.

C1017 Kerrowgair – Croy Road, 30mph, no waiting

C1020 Dalcross Station Road, vehicles prohibited except for local access and no waiting

U1283 Castle Stuart – Easter Dalziel Road, vehicles prohibited except for local access and no waiting, one-way from Castle Stuart to Easter Dalziel

U1008 Morayston – Castle Stuart, 30mph, vehicles prohibited except for local access, VIP, courtesy, or under police direction, one way from Castle Stuart to A96

U1012 Wester Fisherton Road, vehicles prohibited except for local access

U2113 Easterton Road, Dalcross, vehicles prohibited except for local access

A Highland Council spokeswoman said: “Spectators are being encouraged to leave their cars at home and make use of the free shuttle bus services which will be operating daily from 6.30am at Inverness Bus Station and 6.10am from Inverness Airport.”
