Vulnerable woman reported missing in Inverness

A “vulnerable” woman has been reported missing in Inverness after not being seen in almost 48 hours.

Alison Mcdiarmid was last seen on Wyvis Place in the Merkinch area of the city on Tuesday evening.

She has not made contact with her friends or family since and police have said concern is growing for her welfare.

The 50-year-old is described as white and a slim 5ft 5in with brown shoulder length hair.

When last seen she was wearing a flowery skirt, grey cardigan and green jacket.

A force spokesman said: “Police are asking anyone with information regarding Alison whereabouts to contact them at any police office or to call 101.”
