A man has been taken to hospital after he plunged into a Highland river. The alarm was raised at about 9pm after the man fell into the River Ness, at the Inverness Marina. Aberdeen Coastguard launched the Kessock lifeboat but by the time the crew arrived he had been pulled from the water. He has now been taken to Raigmore Hospital in the city but his condition is unknown.
