A crowd of residents gathered as officers in full riot gear entered the property in the city’s Bruce Gardens area. The woman, 35, is expected to appear in court on Tuesday and the man, 31, will do so on Wednesday. Five people were initially taken into custody. After a large smashing sound just after police broke inside, onlookers saw a man appearing at a balcony as the dramatic events unfolded. Local residents said that at various points during the night, the same man shouted from the balcony at police. He also threw objects, including glass bottles, towards police outside. Officers wearing helmets and shoulder pads and holding riot shields stood guard along with three riot vans. A spokesman for Police Scotland confirmed inquiries are ongoing and thanked the public for their patience and support during the incident. A crowd of onlookers at the scene
