A fishing vessel was rescued overnight after it lost power in Argyll.
The Inter Caledonia had eight people on board when it sent out a mayday call at around 1am and was found around a quarter of a mile off the coast in the Sound of Luing, south-west of Oban.
Oban lifeboat and another fishing vessel got alongside the Inter Caledonia and a generator was used to restore its power.
A coastguard spokesman said the vessel made it safely to shore in Craobh Haven, Argyll and the Oban lifeboat returned to base at 2.30am.
