A remote pub on the tiny island of Easdale in the Inner Hebrides – famed for its breath-taking views – has gone on the market.
The opportunity has arisen for one lucky landlord to snap up the award-winning Puffer Bar and Restaurant.
The pub, located on one of the Slate Islands, has been owned by Keren Cafferty since 2008, but the 48-year-old has decided the time has come to leave and pass the buck on to the next owner.
Mrs Cafferty said: “I’ve owned it since 2008 but I now have other plans for the island.
“I am not leaving the Island but I enjoy the challenge of getting businesses up and running which is what I’ll do next.

“The locals have had mixed emotions since my announcement, it’s the end of an era but it will be nice to get some fresh eyes here.
“My staff are the first priority so someone who could take them on would be great. My chef is excellent here.
“Also the business is doing very well at the moment, the numbers are up and this pub has put our Island on the map.”
Mrs Cafferty first arrived on the island 12 years ago after she decided, along with husband Mike, 51, to up sticks and get out of the big-city environment of Edinburgh.
She hopes the close-knit community on the island will take to the new owner.
She added: “My husband and I moved to the Island in 2006 and before I took the pub over, it was shut down and the community were going to buy it.
“But then I was offered it because I had catering experience in Edinburgh, so my husband and I ended up buying it in February 2008.
“We got some work done to it and it reopened in June 2008.
“My community are very close so I think it needs somebody who wants to live here and who wants a challenge.
“It would be nice to come here and have lunch when I am not the owner.”
Mrs Cafferty has praised the work of her husband who carries out work “behind the scenes” aside from his usual day job as a bus driver.
She explained: “Mike does the lifting and moves all the stuff around.
“It’s a good opportunity for someone, we’ve had a lot of interest so far.”
