Dramatic pictures show that a Shetland lorry driver had a lucky escape yesterday afternoon when his artic lorry tumbled off a remote island road and landed upturned on a grassy slope.
The artic lorry, carrying a 20 tonne digger, was travelling near Levenwick when it veered off the road and landed upturned on the grass verge.
Police attended the crash but confirmed there were no injuries and the driver managed to escape his cabin safely.
Fortunately the driver escaped without injury
