Cocaine with an estimated street value of £25,000 was recovered on Friday, August 12, following an intelligence-led operation in Elgin.
Officers from Elgin CID executed a warrant in the Hossack Drive area and a 31 year old local woman has been charged in relation to being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs. She is anticipated to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court today, Monday, August 15.
Chief Inspector Stewart Mackie said: “We are continuing the proactive work to make Moray a hostile environment for those involved in the illegal supply of drugs. A number of persons have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal this year.
“I would like to thank the community for their continued support and assistance when it comes to tackling the supply of illegal drugs.
