A 37-year-old woman has been charged in connection with nine thefts in the Forres area.
It comes following an investigation into several alleged reports of pensioners being targeted dishonestly between 2010 and 2016.
Detective Inspector Norman Stevenson said: “Thank you to all who have assisted with these inquiries.
“Any members of the public with concerns about dishonest behaviour in their communities should contact Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 if you would like to remain anonymous.
“Police Scotland is committed to detecting those who target vulnerable people and we also work extensively with our partners to help those affected.”
