Police are appealing for information after a hit and run driver knocked a motorcyclist from his bike on the A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road outside Elgin.
Officers said the collision occurred at 9.15pm on Wednesday, near Lhanbryde.
The male motorcyclist was thrown from his blue Suzuki bike after colliding with another vehicle which failed to stop at the scene.
It is understood the other vehicle may have been parked in a layby, prior to the incident.
The motorcyclist was later taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin, but police confirmed his injuries were not life-threatening.
