The call was made from a site on the A939 Tomintoul to Lecht road just before midday after smoke was seen rising out of the property. A total of four appliances and an incident support vehicle were sent to the scene. Firefighter spent more than four hours bringing the blaze under control and the road was closed. The fire left the cabin burnt to the ground.
