Fire crews have battled a blaze in a Moray launderette.
The fire broke out in Elgin Express Cleaners on Springfield Road, in New Elgin, at about 6.45pm yesterday.
Staff at the neighbouring Masin Chinese takeaway called police after smoke crept into their building.
Fire crews from Elgin and Lossiemouth tackled the blaze, bringing it under control by 7.15pm.
A fire and rescue spokeswoman said: “There was a fire at the laundry on Springfield Road. One appliance was called from Elgin and one from Lossiemouth.
“One hose reel jet and two breathing apparatus were used. The stop message has come back, we are in attendance damping down just now.”
