A blue Honda Civic and dark greenVauxhall Vectra collided on the A95 Keith to Rothes road at Mulben. The incident took place at around 4.30pm, and ambulance crews and firefighters were sent to the scene. A police spokesman said that one car was so severely damaged that firefighters had to use cutting equipment to free those inside from the wreckage. But he added that there was “no suggestion” that any victims had suffered life-threatening injuries. The spokesman added: “We received a call about this incident at 4.28pm, from the ambulance service. “There were people trapped within the vehicles, who have now been freed from them. “There is no information at the moment to suggest that they have suffered life-threatening or life-changing injuries.”
