A Moray schoolgirl has created a colourful shopping bag celebrating the best of her hometown.
Charlotte Frankland got in touch with her artistic side in response to a competition organised by the Tesco store in Forres.
Children from all over the town and its surrounding villages were asked to conjure up an image which could be embossed onto a limited run of 500 hessian bags and given to people visiting the shop.
The Dallas Primary School youngster based her winning entry on her favourite parts of Forres, and the artwork includes images of Nelson Tower and the famous Tolbooth building.
Acting headteacher of the school, Mairi Grant, said she was delighted the youngster’s artistic talents had been recognised.
She said: “Our pupils really enjoyed taking part in the drawing competition, and we are all very proud of Charlotte.
“The hessian bags look amazing, and are the perfect keepsake for Charlotte to remember her achievement.”
The 10-year-old recently attended at the Nairn Road store, where she collected the top prize of £500 for her school, 60 high-visibility vests and a £25 gift card to treat herself with.
The supermarket is currently under renovation, and when it is re-launched on November 14, her bags will be handed out to customers.
Store manager Mark Driver added: “We received hundreds of outstanding entries depicting what a wonderful place Forres is to live.
“It was great to see the love pupils clearly have for the area, but it was Charlotte’s design that really stood out for us.
“It looks fantastic on the hessian bags and we are sure customers will love them.”
