Police have named a man killed in a work-related incident at a north-east electricity substation.
61-year-old John Cameron, from the north-east of England, died in the incident at the new substation in Blackhillock, Keith, on Friday.
Police are liaising with the Health and Safety Executive while enquiries into the circumstances continue.
The man was working for BAM Nuttall, which is building new substations in the area with Siemens.
The company said he died “following injuries sustained in an incident at the Blackhillock substation”.
BAM Nuttal is responsible for construction of the infrastructure at the site.
