Four-year-old Eileidh Paterson is battling neuroblastoma, a high-risk childhood cancer, for a second time. The Forres resident keeps her spirits up during treatment by watching Disney movies – and is a particular fan of Frozen. Her struggle attracted the attention of the Matt’s Mission charity, who organised the dream trip for her family. Her mum, Gail Paterson, managed to keep the holiday a secret until today – and brought Eileidh to London under the pretence they were visiting family. They flew out to Paris this morning, and will spend two days there mingling with some of Eileidh’s favourite film characters.
