A cancer charity is on a recruitment drive in Moray to add to their band of volunteers.
Clan Cancer Support is hosting an open evening next month to provide information about roles within the group.
The charity is looking for members to bolster its teams in Elgin, Buckie and Lossiemouth for fundraising events and drivers to transport patients needing treatment.
Tracy Sellar, Clan’s area coordinator for Moray, said: “Our volunteers have always been integral to the success of the charity as a whole and with the start of the New Year now passed, we’re looking to add to our pool across the various areas that the charity operates within.
“In Elgin specifically, there are various openings for support, fundraising and driver volunteers and we’re looking to speak to those interested in giving some of their spare time to get involved with Clan in Moray.”
The open evening will run from 4pm to 6pm on Thursday, February 9 at Clan’s base at 227 High Street in Elgin.
Anyone interested in volunteering should contact Mrs Sellar by phoning 01343 544132.
