A number of roads were closed in the north and north-east due to the wintry weather.
The most recent one was the B874 at Halkirk to the A9 which closed in both directions after vehicles got stuck in the snow. It re-opened at around 11pm.
Earlier this evening, police alerted motorists with a message on their Facebook page stating the B9016 Keith-Buckie – ‘Braes of Enzies’ road had been closed due to weather conditions. It has since reopened.
Meanwhile motorists in the north have been warned that the A9 north of Inverness is experiencing “poor conditions”.
Drivers are advised to take extra time with their journeys.
Traffic Scotland also advised that there are wintry conditions on the A96 between Keith and Fochabers, A95 at Grantown and A90 at Toll of Birness.
