A prestigious private school in Moray has welcomed its youngest ever pupils.
Gordonstoun has now opened its doors to a new year two class – meaning children as young as five can now walk the same corridors that Prince Charles once did.
After being inundated with requests for younger pupils to attend in recent years the school initially added a year three class.
Now four six-year-old pupils have started year two lessons with form teacher Phoebe Csenki.
Robert McVean, head of Gordonstoun Junior School, said: “Having received many requests over the course of last year for children younger than year three to join we are pleased to welcome a new year two class to school this term – and they are settling in very happily.”
